Package presets
A preset describes the parcel physically, and that is what every carrier rates from. Open a row to edit it and to see how each carrier names that parcel in its own vocabulary. Sizes are stored in millimetres and grams whichever units you work in.

Customs presets
A preset fills in the customs declaration for anything leaving the country. The keyword is matched against the item title and the longest match wins, so a specific preset beats a general one. Open a row to edit it.

Carriers

Buying defaults
Applied to every carrier when you quote and buy.
Travels with the quote. Buying at a different size is refused.

Ship-from address
The return address printed on your labels.
Shop writes
Buying labels, refunds, and anything written back to Etsy. A new shop starts with these off, so a shop cannot spend money before someone says it may. Reading orders, listings, and rate quotes is unaffected either way.
Dashboard reviews
How many of the latest reviews the dashboard pulls from Etsy on each load.
Connect to Etsy
A shop is required before Dashboard, orders, listings, or carriers. App credentials and tokens stay on the server. Staff never see them.
Permissions
Required scopes are locked. Leave Recommended ticked. Extra scopes are optional and unused unless you grant them.
Authorise
Sends you to Etsy to grant access, then returns to the callback URL registered on the app.
